11.00am Diocesan Chrism Mass in St. Mary’s,
Athlone. Priests renew their commitment & the Oil of
Catechumens, Chrism & of the Sick are consecrated. We’d
encourage Confirmation children & parents to attend.
FERBANE
(No 10am Mass on Thursday, Friday or Saturday)
7.30pm Mass of the Lord’s Supper.
Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in the Church until
Night Prayer at 11pm. Trócaire boxes will be taken up
at this Mass.
GOOD FRIDAY 29th March
Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence.
3.00pm Celebration of Lord’s Passion.
6.00pm Outdoor Stations of the Cross.
The Stations will start at Árd Glas, go up Ballyvora
Grove, continue up Knockaulin Drive, Delvin Park,
top of Main St., Chestnut Row, back to the Church viA
the New Road, with stops at St. Cynoc’s Terrace.
We invite as many as possible to prayerfully walk that
journey with us.
